Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Vanessa Bates
My fine art is almost exclusively in acrylic. I believe that the canvas is where the true color mixing begins. The colors on my palette are therefore loosely folded together before being applied. The subject matter itself is often chosen for humor, expressed either as visual irony or lighthearted observation. Its my sincerest hope that any of my views, whether they are inspired by the political or otherwise, be apparent only to those who have an interest in that subject. Otherwise, the piece should stand on its own as an enjoyable composition. For FAA, I've posted my latest digital pieces. For my latest work, please visit StudioinBlue.com
