Wonderful image, fascinating history.

Brian Wallace replied:

Thanks for the nice comment Martin!

Thank you Cindy for the kind message. :)

Thank you Sandra. I wasn't expecting anyone to read the description so I appreciate that as well! This was an image that was not only old but a portion of the right side had been torn away. It was originally from a larger picture. I had to clone quite a bit in restoration of the right side that was torn away.

What a wonderful photo! It's amazing what you've done with this photo of your father. Brilliant restoration process and coloring.

John, thanks for featuring my work in the group "Creativity".

Artist's Description

2D restored film image of my father "Stump", converted to digital via scanning and touch painted through Photoshop using a "color burn" layer method. Stump eventually became known as "Mr. Baseball" around our Eastern Shore town as he brought each of his three boys and countless towns kids through various leagues of baseball including Little League, Pony League, and Babe Ruth League. Not only was he the hometown coach, but built and maintained the hometown field and transported the players in the back of his pickup truck for which he built a cover and benches to sit on.

In any case, hopefully you'll enjoy my Boogie Woogie! :) If you have not yet been successful "freeviewing" this 3D stereo format using this method, here is a video tutorial that may help... I have more animated photos and links to Power Point Shows on my Blog. (Animations require time to load) My OOB...
