Wonderful processing of this iconic ride. It was fun reading your description as well. I was not aware of all those interesting facts. That ride in Coney Island is known as the Cyclone, which I rode many years ago for the first and the last time. Thanks Juli. v/f

A bench with wheels was fitted into the groove, and down the Parisians went -- facing sideways. The first Cyclone Roller Coaster was opened in America in Coney Island and was made of wood. The wooden roller coasters, once a staple at every amusement park, are now becoming less popular today when compared to the newer "biggest", "tallest", "fastest" steel roller coasters. To me, the clickety-clack of the roller coaster cars on a rickety wooden track and the screams of its passenger...

About Juli Scalzi

Juli Scalzi

What can I say . . . I am totally obsessed with picture taking and the art of processing the image. Now my equipment is a couple of Nikon cameras, an assortment of lenses and Adobe Photoshop. My works have also been featured at Anam Cara Living Arts Studio & Gallery, Bell Studio/Gallery, The Painted Pixels and many local Colorado coffee shops. My image "Enchanted. Blatislava" was on...
