The day is done and these surfers contemplate the beauty of the sunset in Tofino, BC, Canada.

Artist's Commentary:
This was a magnificent end to a magnificent day for me. It was the first time we had been to Tofino, BC, Canada and really seen the vastness of the ocean. I felt such gratitude to be able to live in such a magnificent place. You can see why they call it "Beautiful British Columbia"

I sat in wait as these surfers finished their last run, squatting in the sand with my elbows on my knees steadying the camera. I waited and waited until this moment emerged. So much of photography is about waiting! It teaches me patience and improves my well being through helping me be entirely immersed in the moment.
