Living in the valley below these mountains gives me a great opportunity to visit the area frequently. The crown jewel of Idyllwild, California is Tahquitz Peak, also known as Lily Rock . It is an impressive sight from the town... and an imposing sight from below. I took this photograph at the base of the landmark.
