I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Detail of a vintage Australian postage stamp depicting the Tasmanian Tiger. Also known as the Tasmanian Wolf, this native of Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea finally became extinct in the mid 20th century. Like an unlikely combination of tiger, wolf and kangaroo, the Thylacine (its scientific name) was actually a carnivorous marsupial! What's more, according to wikipedia, "the thylacine was one of only two marsupials to have a pouch in both sexes (the other being the water opossum). The male thylacine had a pouch that acted as a protective sheath, covering the external reproductive organs while he ran through thick brush" - Ouch! (with no pouch).
Born in London in 1965, I have lived and worked in Spain, Italy, Sri Lanka, and Germany. Photography has been a virtually life-long hobby and has accompanied me on my travels. I hope you will like some of the results. I have also collected postage stamps for many years and also make poster size prints of these often beautiful miniature works of art.
