The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description

I used Photoshop CS4 to create this Montage. A friend gave me a photograph of American artists having a picnic in the Fountainebleau, Paris in 1949. Using the techniques of Montage, they reappear in New York City's Central Park within the display of Christo's "Gates."

Roslyn Rose

Roslyn Rose recently relocated to Rochester, NY. Her new studio is in the Anderson Arts Building. Ms. Rose's art ability was recognized by a first grade teacher and she was encouraged by many instructors throughout her schooling. She attended Rutgers University, Pratt University, and obtained a B.S. at Skidmore College. She was a nationally recognized etcher for many years before becoming intrigued with the medium of computer manipulated montages. Although photography is now her main inspiration, she considers herself a fine artist using the medium to seamlessly create collages.
