Artist's Description

The carpenter is a piece about my father who built things with tools. Many of the tools on this piece are his. The coffee cup can pull out under the water spiket and can catch the water that drips out of it. Or it can be moved and the water can drip into a bucket placed on the floor. This could be hooked up to dispence beer as well. The shirt and pants are made of thirteen ply hardwood plywood covered with polymer resin. You can make an offer on all my work.

He was very resourceful and inventive, whipping together small buildings and additions on our property....
