love this greeting card
At the entrance to a nearby field I came across this lovely patterning in the earth. A combination of man made,( or tractor made), ridges and tracks presumably created when the brown earth was softer, this has then frozen with water in the gullies freezing into reflective shapes of ice which in turn reflect the blue of a winter morning's sky. As I explored the surroundings here the earth cracked and creaked under my boots and my breath hung still in the air. Truly a winter morning in Scotland.
