The grinding stone is still used even in the cities in tradition style families till today. It is a good back up when current goes off. Somehow the food tastes better on that day!! Thanks for the comment Xafira. Thanks all for the connection and kind comments.

Good old memories, but people in remote villages in India are still using this stone to make food paste. Good shading and beautifully presented Usha !!
