Perfect shot for the Gages contest JC. Voted here and in contest.

LOL, I didn't even notice that. I am a big fan of the "sleepers" myself. Always have been.

A nice, nice photo, JC, as are all of yours. . Back in the day up in Altoona, Pa., we enjoyed running very capable engines in unattractive cars. They were called "sleepers" for good reason. This lil' Mopar sleeper is capable of unknown speeds, or is until that speedo cable hanging by the gas pedal gets rescrewed. Wait, that doesn't sound right.

Thank you Hans......

I love your work!-Hans

Artist's Description

This is one mechanic that KNOWS what is important and knew where to start this rebuild.

About JC Findley

JC Findley

A little about me: I was raised a military brat and lived all around the US growing up. I went to Auburn University then joined the Air Force upon graduation. In the Air Force I flew B-1B bombers, T-37 and T-38 trainers and KC-135. I taught counter terrorism defensive tactics for Air Force Air Crews. I retired from the Air National Guard after 21 years of service. I was also an airline pilot for Midwest Airlines where I flew DC-9s, MD-80s and Boing 717s. All of Midwest’s flight-crews were outsourced in 2008 and now I make my living selling art and training military aviators in the Florida Panhandle. A little about art: Like many photographers I received my first camera as a gift at some ridiculously young age. Like many I am...
