Congratulations on your Sale!!

Frank, Congratulations on your sale !

Congratulations! I’m very pleased to say your artwork is of the highest standard and has been featured on the home page of the FX - Facial Expressions group, well done!

Those expressions are one of my favorite things to put into my artwork. When I put my emotions and struggles into my art I think I make my best art.

Love your amazing trees and their phenomenal expressions! LF

LOVE IT

Really wonderful work here. Congratulations on your sale.

wow unbelievable I am so trilled to have found the pieces ! trees are very meanningful to me! I grew up surrounded by them! litteraly, we had no clos neighborgs , trees were my play mates as a kid , The appalachian mountains were what i woke up too and what I saw before going to sleep! I climbed in them to the top..often felt like they had a soul and when I was sad I would confide to them! I was certain that At 11 years old whwn my grand daddy past away, his soul took cover into that big tree behind my dad's house, and called the tree 'Grand Pa' as it was huge and old too! Bigger than life itself! Your trees are so much reaching the child that I still am inside! They look so kind and have personnality if that can be said of a tree! lol fav and voted!

Amazing work, he looks so wise! What a fun image! f/v

This (of course) is another of my favorites

This is an awesome piece and would make a wonderful illustration.

Just magical! f/v

I always enjoy looking through your images, Frank. Thank you for your comment on my site, and this is a F/V for sure.

Thank you, Jamie for your comment. I do like putting a lot of character in the face. I just looked at your work again, and Malevolent Umbrella is my favorite of all your images. The way you arranged the background elements is inspiring.

Hi, Frank-- First of all, thanks for your much-appreciated comment on my "Malevolent Umbrella." Of your work, I believe this one is my favorite, for its atmosphere and the wealth of character you've put in the treetch's face.

Interesting thoughts Suzeee about the key and the locked door. I think the tree and door and lock can have different meanings. It probably depends on what is going on in a person's life when they view the picture. Good luck on painting a tree yourself with "more personality"!

About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Artist's Description

This old "treetch" (tree creature) thinks he has wisely locked the door so no one can hurt him anymore. But now he wonders if he should keep his door locked. He somehow feels empty inside.
