I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Saw this old piece of road equipment sitting somewhere since forgotten alongside Highway 281 in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio.
Yellow road graders captured my interest initially as far back as childhood, I recall having a heavy metal toy model of such. This old and faded grader looking seemingly abandoned, seemed to be calling out for paint. And that’s exactly what I did — in a related way.
This particular painting of mine has sold twice to people that I truly do appreciate. Thanking them again for their purchase.
About Jerry Bridges
I love drawing and painting, seems I always have. I'm pretty much a self-taught artist. I grew up in the village of East Alton, Illinois (USA), where I first developed an interest in said art; however, left that area when I was 17 by joining the U.S Army. I spent 26 years active duty as an enlisted soldier working in personnel administration and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1990. During my military service, I painted very little but did enjoy visits over the years to fine art museums in many places worldwide to include repeated visits to the Louve in Paris, France, the Uffizi in Florence, Italy, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Holland, and fantastic museums of art in New York City and Washington, DC, to name but a few.
