This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

to reveal the prettiest of colorful skies
in the early morning...
This is one of the interesting
beach accesses near King Street.
The wooden planks and railings
are still wet with raindrops,
the sage pines dripping
with moisture from the recent rain.
Color in the clouds reflects
in the calm seas
as the tide goes out...
This is natural unspoiled Jekyll Island
on coastal Georgia...
Bicycle paths circle the island,
perfect for a family ride
or a romantic day.
The beaches are wide
and especially interesting
at low tide, when oak trees
are revealed in the wet sand
that have been captured by the surf
through years of storms...
