We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

I love this metal print. The picture is crisp and colors are clear. We live in the Detroit area and my husband used to sell vegetables at Ester Market when he was in college.
Artist's Description
Great Falls is a series of waterfalls and cascades along the Potomac River. The result of the fall line--a transitional zone from the Appalachian Piedmont to the Coastal Plain--Great Falls is a dynamic landscape of truly wild natural scenery. Only fifteen miles or so upstream of Washington D.C., Great Falls National Park is a must-see natural landmark for tourists to the area. The Park is also considered a disjointed unit of the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

Thanks so much, Bob! I grew up nearby and used the park to hike, walk the dogs, mountain bike, etc. as a kid. Now, I've turned the lens on it when I can and definitely find it to be an exciting place to photograph, as you said!
Bob Christopher
Hi Mark...I like your image. An exciting place to visit and photograph and you have done well here...Cheers Bob f/v

Great shot Mark, I normally would not allow a river shot but the water in this makes up a greater part of the image and it is the right time of day.
Mark VanDyke replied:
I appreciate that, Paul. Sorry for the mix up.
Mark VanDyke
And thank you, Paul, for the feature! I accidently checked the seascape group! This is not necessarily a seascape proper, but this is the fault line where the Piedmont transitions to Coastal, and the Potomac River does spill into Chesapeake Bay not far from here!
Mark VanDyke
I appreciate the feature as well, Linda, in the Awe Factor group!
Mark VanDyke
Thanks, Linda! Yep! Had to get out into the river a touch to grab this vantage point--mostly hopping on rocks to keep my feet dry. That is what makes this shot hard--getting the water levels right to get to where you need to be! I appreciate the good words!
Linda Galok
Thank you for sharing this in the Awe Factor group. I don't know where you were standing when you took this shot but I'm guessing your feet got wet? f/v
Serge Skiba
Powerful yet so peaceful.
Mark VanDyke replied:
I appreciate the good words, Serge! It is a really neat place for it's proximity to Washington DC. So wild, yet surrounded by heavy development; definitely a peaceful place for nature lovers amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Cindy Rubin
You have shown the power of the water so well.
Mark VanDyke replied:
Thanks, Cindy!
Jennifer Allen
The water movement is amazing! I love all the textures!
Mark VanDyke replied:
Thanks, Jennifer! This was a shot that I wanted for years and was very excited to finally get!
