A late summer walk to the edge of the upper field, the air is warm, the sun bright, thinking how beautiful this place is. Years have past and as the area around here, only a few miles away, has grown with housing, stores, shopping centers, somehow it hasn't disturbed the innocence. There's nothing more peaceful and soothing to the soul then a place like "The Princess Valley"

I exposed and processed my first roll of black and white film, It was of my dog Barney. This was when I was eleven years old. How things have changed since then. Self taught and always looking at the world around me wishing I had a camera in hand. the problem was funds for film, the chemicals and the camera was my mothers. It wasn't much of a camera, a " Ansco, Jr. Press Photographer", using 620 film. I remember the first time I developed that first roll of film. Using three pans, developer, stop bath and fixer, holding the film one end in one hand and the other in the other hand. Dipping the film back and forth for around four minutes, counting, one chimpanzee, two chimpanzee, and on it went. From one pan to the next and then the moment...
