This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
This is the largest Woodpecker in North America, (Pileated Woodpecker). I sometimes wonder about animals like this; with their funky heir jobs. I'm just saying >lol
Anyway, here's some information about this species.
The Pileated Woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus) is a very large North American woodpecker, roughly crow-sized, inhabiting deciduous forests in eastern North America, the Great Lakes, the boreal forests of Canada, and parts of the Pacific coast. It is also the largest woodpecker in the United States, except the possibly extinct Ivory-billed Woodpecker.
Adults are 40 to 49 cm (16 to 19 in) long, span 66 to 75 cm (26 to 30 in) across the wings and weigh 250 to 400 g (8.8 to 14 oz), with an average weight of 300 g (11 oz). Each wing measures 21.4 to 25.3 cm (8.4 to 10.0 in), the tail measures 14 to 17.4 cm (5.5 to 6.9 in), the bill is 4.1–6 cm (1.6–2.4 in) and the tarsus measures 3.1–3.8 cm (1.2–1.5 in). They are mainly black with a red crest, and have a white line do...

I grew up in a very small unincorporated community, or town, if you can call it that, Putney GA. > Almost everyone knew each other in this place, and that's the way I liked it, well sort-of anyway. The people I've been closest to over the years and throughout my life, did very little to influence me in my art work, and are not responsible for my interest in art or photography, however, I will admit that there was two exceptional moments in my life; One was, in which my sister, and myself, both received a joint gift on Christmas day. I was about the age of 7 or 8 years old when this explosion of inspiration came from a candle making kit,...
