This statue sits in the Chinese restaurant across the street from my work. They were nice enough to let him model for this painting. It is painted with 18th century watercolor paint on Arches 140# paper.

Hi Ken, I really like this buddha and I think I actually see myself this way sometimes when I meditate. And thank you for the nice comment you made regarding my Tulip Fly-by painting. The man in the front seat of the plane published a crop-dusting magazine and he liked my gorilla paintings, so I put him in one of his byplanes and let my gorilla flying around!
