Sunset on rocky Asilomar Beach. Slow shutter showing the moving tide. Located on the Monterey Peninsula in the city of Pacific Grove, Asilomar (meaning "a refuge by the sea") is a narrow one-mile strip of sandy beach and rocky coves.
About Jamie Pham
I am a full-time freelance photographer based out of Los Angeles, specializing in landscapes and nature. I am also the staff photographer at the Los Angeles Zoo and my photography can be seen regularly published in the Zoo Magazine, website and various other marketing materials. With a background in animal behavior and marine biology from UCLA, I had always envisioned myself as a Professor teaching and conducting research, but instead I opted to take a leap of faith and pursue my passion for photography. I am so happy, glad, and proud that it has become a reality.
