The Wave and The Mountains painting by Michele Avanti
As I worked with a photograph of a crystal I took some years ago, I found this transition point and eventually arrived at what you see now.
The earth is in transition, a wave of change is taking place and where there are mountains there may be water and where water there may be mountains. The air may change as well and let us hope it does not turn orange but alas in some place it has already become gray. This painting is a prayer for successful changes. The geese continue to fly symbolizing health will return though much will migrate. The globe in the lower right is both night and moon and yin and yang. It symbolizes the need for balance and female harmony.
It is time for patriarchal domination to step back into balance with the feminine. Women must be recognized for their contribution, intelligence and empowering intuitive knowledge. It is time for the world to re-embrace the feminine and we must start with Mo...
