Funny how even the most commonplace things can take on a kind of beauty at sunset.

Walking the dog the other evening, I spotted this old workhorse resting for the night in a neighboring field here in West Virginia. I've watched him huffing and puffing up and down our streets for months ... a very hard working old truck. I loved seeing him taking his rest for the night, parked on the gentle slope of a peaceful hillside ... the songs of the evening birds in our ears, the wind blowing gently over all three of us. Even the clouds seemed to be reaching out their slender white fingers to give him a comforting pat on the head for all his hard work.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced.
