I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
About John Hermann
Just a note before I start. Although I now shoot almost exclusively in digital formats, my overall approach and process of producing imaginary is largely unchanged. I still hold the same fascination for monochrome imagery as when I began shooting almost 40 years ago. John, from an early age showed a talent for art, mostly in graphite drawings. He produced a few paintings while in high school, but was generally discouraged from pursuing art because a belief by his parents that there was no future in art or music. While enlisted in the US Navy, John began his study of photography as a hobby while traveling from duty station to duty station in 1972 and 1973. John became serious about photography as an art form in 1981 when he began taking...
