"Capturing Light By Our Creator" Landscape photographer. Born in Los Angeles, CA in the 60's but brought to Oregon in the 1970's when my parents escaped from LA. Grew up in the small town of Bandon, Oregon near some of the most amazing sections of coastline in the USA. Started taking pictures as a boy and my parents encouraged me. They helped me buy a Pentax SLR, and later an Olympus SLR and a Vivitar Enlarger in high school. My parents eventually tired of the smell of developer, stop-bath, and fixer in the house (how many remember those smells?) and my dad taught me how to build as we constructed a separate darkroom building, complete with hot and cold running water. I don't do much black and white processing so any CC would be appreciated. How's the contrast and levels? Should I bump up the white? If you look at my portfolio you can see I tend towards lots of color...maybe too much at times. But I thought this image lent itself to B&W since the sky was grey and there was not a lot of color anyway. I tried color processing on another similar shot. This one looks good printed on pearl metallic paper which I just did for a local gallery. I think it would look nice on metal too.
