Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
About Gun Legler
I live in Sweden in a little village near Gothenburg. When I was 40 I left my job as a child psychologist and teacher, and went to art school where I learned graphic art (etchings and such) for four years. Besides that I have worked much with textile collages and watercolor collages. After buying my first computer more than thirty years ago, I more and more concentrated on digital art. Now the computer takes all my time . I have no education in computer art. I am self-taught. I work in PaintShopPro and sometimes Photoshop. I work mostly from photos, mine and others. Textures are very important to me. I think my love for working with textiles has given birth to that love. With my images I try to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. I...

Thank you very much Dagmar. I am happy for you insightsful comment. Maybe the child in me is so alive still, that I can creep under the skin of even children and feel how vulnerable they are in the world we have created.

Thank you very much Anne for your words, they made me happy. I am glad you like my images. I cannot even imagine how scaring it is to be a child in a war zone. In Sweden we have lived in peace for several hundreds of years.

Evocative and heart-wrenching Gun. It reminds us that children are the true victims of war and hatred and unkindness. In any form, they are atrocities against us all. I am also reminded of the hope that love and compassion and kindness will win the day. We just can never ever stop trying and speaking out.

Your work is always powerful and moving and this one compels our attention to an important issue - and one that takes a back seat to politics or economics far too often. Amazing work Gun. F/V
