This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

Amazing Beautiful
The George Pegg Botanical Garden in Alberta is a very interesting garden. George Pegg was a pioneer botanist/taxonomist of west central Alberta. His family developed a homestead, which George continued to farm after the death of his parents. George became very interested in birds and plants, and made major contributions to the field of Botany with his many first-time-in Alberta identifications of plant species, massive pressed plant collection, large library of botanical books, plant findings which led to the theory of 'glacial refugia' in the Rockies, and development of a unique Garden.
The family moved to the area in 1913. The Pegg family had 8 children so having a traditional outhouse just would not do! The botanical garden is open to the public and tries to maintain the many varieties of plant life George defined and nutured on the property as well as growing seed plants. Louise is a published photographer with her primary focus on all things nature. Sometimes a piece just begs to let Louise's imagination run wild and she turns it into a graphic piece from her photography and it is picking up quite a following!
