Whoa, Bob you know how to make a great picture into something spectacular. I am new to this site but have been seeing more great art on here than there is at the local museum! Probably not as old though. Good luck Bob!

What great processing for this capture! I would love to know the technique used to achieve this affect! vf

I get lost in your artwork and this is no exception...................stunning Bob!! F/V

Far out, man. This reminds me of street vendors in Austin, Texas in the 70's. The over the top processing really pops the tie dye colors. V&F

Artist's Description

Tie-Dye Guy ~ Original fine art street photography by Bob Orsillo Copyright (c)Bob Orsillo / http://orsillo.com - All Rights Reserved. Buy art online. Buy photography online Tie-dyeing is accomplished by folding the material into a pattern, and binding it with string or rubber bands. Dye is then applied to only parts of the material. The ties prevent the entire material from being dyed. Designs are formed by applying different colors of dyes to different sections of the wet fabric. A wet t-shirt is much easier to dye than a dry t-shirt. Once complete, the material is rinsed, and the dye is set. The earliest surviving examples of pre-Columbian tie-dye in Peru date from 500 to 810 AD. Their designs include small circles and lines, with bright colors including red, yellow, blue, and green
