This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

Artist's Description

No matter how many times you walk past the Coliseum in Rome, you feel compelled to take more pictures! You just never get enough of it, and of course it looks different at different times of the day and in different weather. So I came home with hundreds of pictures of this magnificent structure. The Coliseum was originally called the Flavian Amphitheatre. It is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of Rome, and is the largest ever built in the Roman empire. It is constructed of concrete and stone and is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering. Its construction was started in 72 AD and completed in 80 AD. Capable of seating 50,000 spectators, it was used for gladiatorial contests and other public spectacles. Much of the Coliseum was ruined by earthquakes and stone-robbers but remains an iconic symbol of the city. It's hard to imagine our present buildings lasting until the year 4012!

Joan Carroll

Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. Although travel and photography were dual interests from a young age, the coming of the digital camera provided undreamed of opportunities and unleashed previously untapped creativity. My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
