About Peter Allen
I’m Peter Allen from Birmingham, UK where I’ve lived for the past 30+ years. I initially developed my Photo Digital Art style to show off this great city in its best light, but soon realised that I can apply it to almost any situation to make it look better than it does in ‘real life’. I’m a self taught artist and my style is, essentially, the opposite of Photorealism. I start with the PHOTO, apply DIGITAL manipulations to produce painting-like ART. My aim is to make places look better than they do in real life enhanced by the use of vibrant colours and other effects that make the main subject stand out from its surroundings.
