Coal Companies want to send 20+ trains with 20+ cars each uncovered through the farm land, oyster farms and amazing beautiful pristine coastal recreation playland across 4 counties in Washington State to be shipped out to China. One derailment could ruin everything. Meanwhile each train leaves particulates in the air making adults and children choke. Boulevard Park where so many play has been impacted for the worst by these trains with noise and environmental pollution - without even considering what would happen after a spill.

Materials: Paint on donated frame with juice bottle caps, part of a paper towel roll, cut up berry containers & packing peanuts on a reused canvas.

The purpose of my work is to desensitize viewers to the need for perfection in our surroundings. I don't care about spots on my apples, leave me the birds and the bees please :-) These works are not perfectly rigidly aligned; nor are they intended to be. Like people; each work is unique and individually interesting. Embrace their organic shapes and sometimes lack of balance long banished by machines of the industrial revolution. I take sleek symmetrical lifeless manufactured items that have served their initial purpose and put the artist’s hand and quirkiness back into the item.
