About Cheri Randolph
Cheri Randolph was awarded a degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in the study of Art History. She credits printmaker, Calvin Harlan , a UNO professor, as being quite influential in her composition techniques as well as painter, Ida Kohlmeyer with a better understanding of color. Pictorialism would best describe her current work, stylistically. Cheri has expressed her artistic talents in a variety of ways including; wheel-thrown pottery, quilting, vintage clothing restoration, interior decorative painting and photography. Randy, thanks for your nice compliment. I cannot take too much credit for the effects, as this is pretty much straight from the camera. I think that the weathered stone wall and the low light contributed to that painted effect. Sure appreciate your f/v!

Maynard, I appreciate such a flattering compliment! Sometimes I do edit in textures to get a painterly effect, but amazingly enough this was pretty much directly from the camera. That this was a night capture, produced the effect I think. Thanks for voting.
