About Lori Theim-Busch
I grew up in West Allis, Wisconsin and now reside in New Hope, Minnesota. My work tends to be more on the personal side. I like to paint images of things that have a clear memory for me and likewise will for many others. In my work, I have been inspired by the beauty of paintings hanging on walls I have noticed the peace certain painting give to residents in long term care facilities and to patients in hospitals. I have also notice how certain works of art have inspired people to observe details in paintings and remember things from their own life because of the painting. Delightful photo! Yes, I believe the trees are aware in some mysterious way. I once hiked up a dry creekbed for quite a ways and came to a large and very ancient, wind-twisted cedar. Even though there was no water visible anywhere, after I had stood contemplating the tree for some time, it made a distinct gurgling sound. Yes, perhaps it was talking in its own language.
