This is a very large reverse painting on glass. This piece is about a personal journey of mine through life and of coming out on the other side of healing, and moving forward.....The Tree of Life is about hanging on to God through all journeys, whether walking through the valley of the shadow of death, or walking on water, or just continuing to walk on. This piece took a few months to complete.
The owner of the piece designed an entire room around it. It was purchased at a benefit auction for children. It is meant to speak particularly to cancer survivors. This is a style and technique I work in frequently.

I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
