I never received my order, or even a shipping notification. I will have to dispute the charge soon, although I'd still rather have the item. :)

I would love to provide a picture of this product, unfortunately I can't because it never shipped to me and no one at Pixels has been interested in discussing this situation with me despite multiple emails asking for an update.

Worst experience ever. Ordered on 16/08/2017 and estimated ship date was 21/08/2017, it's 06/09/2017 now and there is still no info when item will be shipped. Tried to contact pixels.com twice via contact form, no answer. Charger supposed to be gift for my father's birthday on 09/09/2017 but you managed to ruin it. Since I tried to contact You via contact form, and got no result. I hope that you'll read this comment and return me my money, since you failed to deliver product which is now useless to me because you weren't able to provide any info for couple of weeks

I bought this for my sister who is graduating soon. She spends a lot of time on her cell phone, and I thought this would be a personal and usefu giftl. The image is a bit dark but over all nice quality. The charger came with some charge (blue light came on). It looks easy to use, and I'm eager to see how my sister likes it!
This is part of a triptych. Please see panels 2 and 3.
I have enjoyed drawing since childhood, and have been painting in watercolour since 2002. I really enjoy the transparency of watercolour, and like to experiment with combining watercolour with other media. In the past few years, I have also been working in pastel, and mixed media. In whatever I do, my desire is point others to the beauty and wonder that our Creator has given us to enjoy, that they may come to see His beauty and stand in awe of Him!

Thank you for your comment, Donald! And you may very well be right. Personally, I find I still get too hung up on details painting en plein air, but that's just me. Same with photos. Although, even when painting without photo reference, or outside, I guess it would be a little more accurate to say it's a mix of memory and imagination. Either way, it can be fun, and occasionally turn out okay - depending on what you're going for. There are a few dedicated plein air painters in this neck of the woods, but watercolor can be interesting in the -15 to -30 degree C. range, and just uncomfortable at 0 to -15 degrees C. But that's only Oct.,Nov. through March or April. There is actually a short window of time before black fly and mosquito season (mid-May through July or August, depending on how wet a summer we get) and again in the fall where it is possible to paint outside without having to pick bugs out of your paint, or freeze your hands off. I find I'm not so dedicated now that I'm on blood-thinners! But I do thank you for the suggestion!

I like the triptych also. Very nicely done. But I disagree about painting out of your head. I recommend the opposite, by going outdoors and painting on location. Try that and then do one out of your head, or from memory.

Hi Nancy, thanks! I should do another one something like this one of these days. I think it helps to have no reference photo, and just paint from my imagination (notice I didn't say 'paint out of my head'! LOL!)

Love all 3 of these Lynn - wish I could learn to paint loose like this. Love the colors!

Thank you Warren! They were a lot of fun, and a bit looser than I usually paint.

Nice paintings...like all 3.
