Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Heinz Coliseum, where the Steelers do battle, is the setting for my portrayal of one of Pittsburgh's greatest gladiators, Troy Polamalu. This is a print taken from a banner I painted and hang at Heinz Field. Troy is pictured here doing battle in the dirt and dust of the arena. The lion is to represent Troy's strength and catlike quickness and the shield is symbolic of his defensive prowess. The spectators are derived from a photo of some friends and relatives that I outfitted with togas and terrible towels. Troy's high school was the trojans as was his college, the USC Trojans so it all simply came together. I hope you enjoy it and GO STEELERS!
Fred Carrow was born and raised in Oil City, Pennsylvania and graduated from Edinboro University. He currently holds teaching degrees in Art Education and Social Studies with Bachelor of Fine Art degrees in Painting, Printmaking and Ceramics. He has been teaching art and photography at Keystone High School for the past 30 years. His paintings depict a wide range of various subjects from Pittsburgh sports art to historical subjects such as Jefferson�s Monticello in Virginia. His artworks are in private collections throughout the United States and abroad. Fred has also won numerous awards in both local and international art competitions throughout his lifetime and continues to be inspired mostly by what is just outside his own front...
