This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

NOPALES, TUNAS OR CHUMBERAS
SCIENTIFIC NAME: Opuntia
FAMILY: CACTEAS
These plants are native to the American continent and they were introduced to Europe by the conquerors and adapted themselves easily to the Mediterranean region. Its fruits are eatable and they are known as tunas or higos chumbos. The nopal is one of the national symbols of Mexico, one is captured in the national shield supporting the real eagle that devours the snake. The Aztecs considered it to be the plant of the life since it never dies since having dried off, it can give life to a new plant. Of it we can extract diverse elements of the Mexican feeding: nopalitos tunas and xoconostles. In the industry it is used as colouring, rubber and anticorrosive. It plays an important role in the conservation of the soils since it protects the fertile layer of these against the erosion.
