I captured this image of a Turkey practicing it's mating dance recently. For those of you who may not have seen a wild Turkey before this is known as a Tom Turkey, Gobbler, or if the beard on it's chest was smaller and the tail feathers had varying lengths it could also be called a "Jake". I am not an expert on Turkey's, but I think that this is one of the subspecies known as an Osceola Turkey. I captured this image of a Turkey practicing it's mating dance recently. On the east coast of the United States wild Turkeys are commonly reffered to as Eastern Turkey, Eastern Wild Turkey or Wild Turkey.
