Love it!!!
Plitvice Lakes National Park is a stunning protected forest reserve in central Croatia.
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979, the park is famous for its 16 lakes in various shades of green and blue.
Twelve of the lakes belong to the "Upper Lakes" region and four to the "Lower Lakes" region.
Here, cascades from Kozjak Lake in the Upper Lakes region flow into the turquoise waters of Milanovac Lake in the Lower Lakes region.

Carrie and Travis are Two Small Potatoes born in Idaho. Pacfic Northwest born and raised, we've lived in states as far flung as Alaska and New Mexico. In 2014, we were transplanted to Europe for new adventures. After 15 months in Switzerland and seven years in Germany, we moved back across the pond, this time to the exquisite state of Maine. Carrie's an artist, while Travis is a molecular biologist. We both love travel, photography, and the outdoors. Hopefully our images inspire you to explore the world, even if it's just your own backyard. Share our passions?
