Louise, if you get out of the center of San Jose, you can still be in the country right away. Bernal Road, Metcalf Road, etc. still have the feel of yesteryear. I just love living where I do. Thanks for your comments..

You have captured the Bernal Road of my youth! I hope this means that the area is still untouched. My mother was best friends with Mary Bernal and we went to the East Hills to visit her quite frequently. Great Work -- Art stimulates emotion, you surely did with this piece. (I wish I had done it!)
