This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Vaccinia virus particles, coloured transmission electron micrograph (TEM). The virus is composed of a genetic core (dark pink rod in lower centre virus), consisting of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). It is surround by a protein coat, or capsid (pink), which is itself enclosed within a lipid envelope (orange). Vaccinia belongs to the orthopoxvirus group. It causes cowpox, a disease of cattle and humans, which produces skin lesions. It was first used by Jenner in 1796 to vaccinate against smallpox, a related but more deadly human disease. The word vaccine is derived from vaccinia.
