This old wood case vacuum tube radio was made from 1945 until 1947. The broadcasts of live drama, comedy, music and news characterized the Golden Age of Radio. We all listened to Fibber McGee and Molly, Jack Benny, The Lone Ranger, Little Orphan Annie, The Shadow Knows, Edgar Bergen and Charlie Mc Carthy and many more before the rise of television. But before you could enjoy your favorite program you waited until the vacuum tubes warmed up if you had a radio such as this one..
