I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
This image is a view of the Gulf of Mexico by looking through a cannon opening in Fort Jefferson at the Dry Tortugas. When this fort was active the soldiers found the views beautiful but the duty was miserable. Heat, insects, disease and lack of water belied the scenic vistas. The fort is located on a small, waterless island 60 miles off the coast of Key West.
