Artist's Description
This is a whimsical little farming vision around and near a pond. The original was very heavily textured. Due to the dimensional, recycled media used in the original, the edges were ragged and irregular. I have attempted to maintain that look on this giclee print by placing that edge on the surface, and surrounding it with black border. If the customer were to prefer a white border or a traditionally cropped version, I will be glad to provide that as well.
About Wayne Potrafka
I have been a producing artist for over 30 years, starting out as a potter/sculptor back in my native Michigan. I now paint, work with mixed media, and a bit of photography. . .and now and then, a little clay! I have become known primarily for my work in a dimensional, recycled mixed media w/acrylic, and all of my originals are also available as prints and as cards. Joining Fine Arts America has led me to pull out some of my old images, and to find a renewed interest and pleasure in the techniques and styles that I have passed through over the past few years.
