Virginia Waltz is a romantic watercolor painting of a cheerful music instruments still life. Sunshine streams in the window through lace curtains onto a baby grand piano with candles and sheet music. There are books, violin, metronome and table runner on the piano bench. The lace doily on the window sill holds opera glasses and a crystal vase of pink and yellow roses. On the floor, there is a large statue of a couple dancing to complete the romance.

This watercolor was commissioned by a couple in Virginia Beach. They requested a still life scene with a piano and violin that they could hang in their music room. They sent me color samples of items in the room. I painted this musical instrument watercolor to include those colors. The title of this painting reflects the couple's home, love of music and love for each other.
