Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Two coasting schooners are awaiting the Salt Barque from Portugal so they can load salt to take to down-east ports. Between the end of the Civil War and WW- I the port of Gloucester, Ma. imported more salt and exported more salt Cod than any other American port. Gloucester served as a major distribution center for ports in Maine and the Canadian Maritime Provinces; all of whom caught and preserved their catch of Cod with salt.
Bill grew up in a fishing family in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He specializes in marine art - seascapes and boats. He studied oil painting with Margaret Taylor, Robert Benham and also painted with Emil Gruppe in Gloucester, Ma. While living and painting on Cape Cod from 2002 to 2006 he was greatly influenced by the watercolor work of his friend, the late Anton Stetzko who induced him to try that media. Bill lives and paints in Melbourne, Florida and was a Director of the Strawbridge Art League. While his early work was with oils and watercolor; he now works only in the mixed-media of Acrylics, Pen & Ink. Growing up in Gloucester, most of his paintings reflect that areas' famous tradition of sailing fishing and trading...
