Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

The original print plate for “War On Terror” was drawn in pencil on 8.5”x 11” copy paper using my DayDreamArt technique. First I covered the page in light pencil or newspaper scratching and rubbings. Then I looked for images that my imagination deciphered from the markings and trace lightly over them with a pencil. I came back later to darken the lines and add shading.
I call it DayDreamArt. It’s a refining of a simple daydream process that we’ve all engaged in when looking at clouds thinking about how one may resemble something that’s familiar to us. Only when I look at clouds, I see chariots of Gods battling fallen Angels for control of mankind's destiny. Or perhaps I see the love of my life as a child looking up a great staircase, like Alice in Wonderland in reverse where she leaves the rabbit hole to enter our very strange world. What I see in abstract patterns depends on my mood and the influences on my mind at the time. You’ve probably heard of the ink blot test given to mental patients invented by Hermann Rorschach. In it they are asked to identify what familiar images they see in ink blots....
