Artist's Description
Some silverware and antique cutlery items from the back of my kitchen drawer. The small fork is my favourite because it belonged to my Grandmother and I can remember her checking the joint of beef with it to see if it was cooked.

My photographic journey has led me to try many styles and techniques but underlying every photo is my love of colour. Mostly toning shades but also strong contrasts. Love everything about this, Jan. Your arrangement is beautiful! I'm needing an old, weathered table (aside from blue) and love the look of yours. Makes a fantastic, rustic background. :)
Jan Bickerton replied:
Thank you Amy :-) This is a low coffee table and I have a photograph of me aged 1 just learning to stand holding onto it. The table was old then.
Liz Alderdice
What a lovely collection, I recognise some of these! The table works well as a background too. v
Jan Bickerton replied:
The table has spent some summers outside and the weather has raised the grain of the wood. It makes a great background, but is unfortunately a little warped. Thanks again.
