I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

This piece was a struggle . It started on a huge panel which I kept sawing until the remaining part looked balanced to me. Easier on photoshop but I wanted the panel out of the studio. I need the space. The title fits the process and elements in the painting.
About Dale Witherow
I began painting seriously after retiring. I currently exhibit abstracts, but my roots are in landscape painting. I tend to float between the two. I work mainly in acrylics but often include other media. I have recently added digital components to my work. I believe that " everything" is a self portrait. I currently exhibit in Olympia,WA . @Dale Witherow 2016
