The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Born in Bremerhaven, Germany to German parents. Childhood on Long Island NY, USA. Switched majors at State University at Stony Brook from chemistry to art. Worked at Fine Art Bronze Sculpture Foundries for 10 years, while also creating and publishing independent mini-comix and participating in international Mail-Art as “Aardvark Farms”.
