POWERFUL, SYMBOLIC AND BEAUTIFULLY DRAWN - LOVELY LINE QUALITY

Hello Jose Alberto, Thanks for your comments. Your work is so dynamic, intriguing and philosophic, that it requires close study, and even then you would be the only one who could relate the true meaning to us. VERY, VERY POWERFUL.

Great work.

Bom dia, Jose ! Thank you very much for your nice comment ! ... and all my congratulations too for your very interesting work... original, powerful, full of symbols and hidden messages... I think we share the same vision of art : expressionist, symbolist, engaged and humanist.

Thanks for your kind comments on "Red Hat #4". I also find your work very interesting.

Interesting and unique style. I see you create, using the left and right side of the brain.

desire does leave us, but your works will not. excellent my friend.

Fiquei deveras fascinado!

Dear Master; first thank you for you wonderful comment on a piece of my gallery. There are times when one speaks you sit back and let out a slow breath as it touches the inner light. Dear Sir, thank you. Ive gone through your pieces so many times and each time find a different path. Your title's do distress me. Your work does not show any lessening of desire and please continue on for those of us who would be willing to stand in your shadow.

Hi Jose, Your work is amazing and fascinating. There is so much detail in your pictures. One has to take the time to study them in order to understand the story. Movement and flow throughout your work. Congratulations, your style is quite unique. Thank you for your kind comments, Ingrid

GOMES PEREIRA, José Alberto, portuguese painter (Riachos, Ribatejo, 1943) is a unique figure of portuguese painting. Educated in Lourenço Marques, now Maputo, Mozambique, he began his foray into the art world with his nanking drawing "Balada de Breu" (Ballad of Darkness), based on the works of José Afonso whose song "Grândola Vila Morena", was used years later as a signal and anthem, of the revolution of 1974 in Portugal (the singer brought the ballads to the "Tertúlias" - literary gatherings - attended by both during the evenings in Lourenço Marques - 1967. Another witness lost in time in which he denounced the colonial war, is the unusual mural made for the Military Police of Mozambique, called "The Accusation" (1964). Considered...
