This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
Finnish ancient mythology: Mielikki was the mistress of forests. As the wife of Tapio, the god of forests- she was prayed for even more often than her husband. This was because she could help hunters to find smaller game, such as birds and rabbits or lead seakers to find berries. Mielikki was a precise and skillful hostess, who knew the secrets of healing and herbs. Other creatures living under her rule were the maidens and sons of forest, goblins, fairys, earth sprites and some believed-to-be-magical beasts of pray.

Parenthood is a state of a lifetime -not only of a few years of the early childhood. My one inspiration is the Finnish ancient mythology: ancient gods of nature believed to rule the way of living.
